Players can earn Doubloons through various ocean-based activities, including:
- Killing and looting enemy ship crewmembers
- Sinking enemy ships
- Fishing, using nets, and other maritime activities
When a player loses their ship (i.e., it is sunk by another player or an NPC enemy ship), they will receive a 50% refund of the total Doubloons spent on the ship. This refund includes all costs, such as registration fees, ship upgrades, and hiring additional crew members.
Players who sink another player's ship will receive a reward equal to 10% of the ship's total Doubloon value.
