If a player attacks a blue target while in the guard zone, they will be instantly guardwhacked. Players who commit a crime while in town have a 30-second window during which they can be reported. If no players or townsfolk call guards within this time, they will be exempt from being guardwhacked. However, committing a new crime will reset this timer.

For crimes committed outside of town, the player may still enter a town, but they will remain at risk of being guardwhacked if any players or townsfolk call guards within 30 seconds of their last crime. Again, committing a new crime will reset this timer.

When a player enters a town while still at risk, they will receive a system message: "Guards may now be called on you."
