Omni Bosses are powerful endgame creatures that require significant effort to summon and defeat. Players can learn more about the mechanics of these encounters by reading about Bosses, the Boss Results system, and the Tome of Heroism, which is required to summon an Omni Boss.

Summoning

Players who complete a Tome of Heroism gain the ability to summon an Omni Gate. Access to the Omni Gate is granted to:

  • The summoning player.
  • Their guild members, alliance members, and party members.

Players can invade the Post-Omni Public Battle event freely. However, certain restrictions apply when entering or exiting the Omni Realm:

  • Players cannot exit the Omni Realm if they have a Heat of Battle effect (caused by initiating aggressive or stealing actions).
  • Players can only enter the Omni Realm during a Post-Omni Public Battle once every 5 minutes.

Inside the Lair

The Omni Boss Lair is a Lawless Zone, meaning all players flag as grey to each other, creating an open PvP environment. There are three different Lairs in the Omni Realm, and each time an Omni Gate is summoned, it leads to a randomized Lair.

Inside the Omni Boss Lair:

  • Player Factions are ignored, allowing players to attack members of the same Faction.
  • The chaotic nature of the Lair encourages both PvM and PvP conflict.

Omni Realm Moongates

Each Omni Realm Lair contains between 8 to 10 Moongates positioned around the edges of the Lair. These moongates function similarly to Public Moongates, allowing players to exit to a town of their choice. However, unlike normal moongates:

  • Players can leave through these moongates even while under a Heat of Battle effect.
  • Every 60 seconds, a randomized moongate is designated as the Entrance Moongate.
  • When players enter the Omni Realm, they appear at the current Entrance Moongate, a mechanic designed to reduce location camping within the Omni Realm.

Mastery Chain Link Rewards

Defeating an Omni Boss provides multiple Mastery Chain Links as rewards. The distribution of these links is based on damage dealt and participation:

  • Completing a Tome of Heroism rewards the player with 5 Mastery Chain Links.
  • During each Post-Omni Public Battle (30-minute PvP event), 5 Mastery Chain Links will be available as loot, with 2 of them being Corrupted Mastery Chain Links.
  • Omni Bosses distribute 1 Mastery Chain Link each time 500,000 hit points of damage are dealt, ensuring a minimum of 3 Mastery Chain Links per battle.
  • At least 1 Gold Mastery Chain Link is guaranteed to drop from an Omni Boss.
  • Each 500,000 damage dealt prompts the system to randomly grant a Mastery Chain Link to a player based on their damage contribution percentage.
  • The maximum amount of links an Omni Boss can drop is 43.

Omni Bosses scale to accommodate up to 40 players. For every additional player:

  • The Omni Boss’s hit points increase by 500,000.
  • Additional Mastery Chain Links become available as rewards.

If a player eligible for a Mastery Chain Link is either dead or has left the Omni Lair:

  • Their link will drop on the Omni Boss's corpse. (Note: These unreceived links are now shuffled amongst the other items on the corpse, rather than being placed at the end of the item list.)
  • Only that player or their guildmates can claim it for the first 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, any player can loot the link from the corpse.

At the end of the encounter:

  • 35 minutes after the Omni Boss is killed (5 minutes for looting + 30 minutes of Post-Omni Battle), all remaining players and their pets in the Omni Realm will be teleported back to the last town they visited via a public moongate.
