Faction Dungeons are Classic OSI-era dungeons that are exclusively available to Faction players. Each week, one dungeon is designated as the Faction Dungeon. When Tabula Rasa occurs at the start of the week, the current Faction Dungeon is deactivated, ejecting all players inside to their last Moongate Town Destination, and a new Faction Dungeon becomes active for the week.
The current lineup of Classic Dungeons includes:

Creature spawns in Faction Dungeons maintain the thematic elements of Classic OSI dungeons but have been rebalanced to provide a better difficulty progression. For example, weaker creatures like Giant Rats and Headless no longer appear on deeper levels. Players can check which Faction Dungeon is currently active on Page 2 of the Faction Page.
Travel Restrictions
Only players who belong to a Faction-aligned Guild and have Participate in Factions enabled can access Faction Dungeons.
Players cannot use Gate Travel or Chivalry Moongates to enter or exit Faction Dungeons, but they may use Hiking (Camping) freely.
Recall Spell
Players can freely Recall into Faction Dungeons. However, Recalling out has an increased casting time of 4 seconds. Each player is limited to five successful Recall casts inside a Faction Dungeon. A cast is considered successful when the player receives a targeting cursor for the spell. Interrupted or canceled Recall attempts do not count against the limit.
Once a player reaches the five Recall limit, they must exit the dungeon through the entrance or via a Ghost Gate.
Note: This system prevents players from abusing Recall to instantly escape PvP encounters by "holding" the Recall cursor indefinitely.
Faction Moongates
The currently active Faction Dungeon appears at the top of the Faction Moongate menu. Selecting the Faction Dungeon destination warps the player and their followers to the Level 1 Entryway of that dungeon.
Gameplay Mechanics
Mounts are allowed inside Faction Dungeons. Players cannot activate Echoes, disable "Participate in Factions", or leave their Guild while inside. Hiding, Stealth, and Invisibility are completely disabled.
Restrictions
Players cannot receive Murder Counts or trigger Aggression Region Restrictions. If a player is kicked out due to IP Restrictions, they will be ejected to a random location in Daemon Keep.
Faction Flag Bonuses
For each Faction Flag held in a Faction's Castle:
- Players receive a +5% Damage Bonus against creatures.
- Loot from creatures increases by +5%.
- Faction Score earned from Faction Spawns increases by +10%.
Faction Dungeon Ejection
Players will be killed and ejected from a Faction Dungeon if any of the following occurs:
- The player has their Participate in Factions setting forcibly disabled (due to multiple guilds in different factions).
- The player is removed from their Guild, leaving their Faction.
- The player's Guild disbands, causing them to leave their Faction.
Note: This system prevents players from exploiting guild mechanics to escape PvP fights or remove loot unfairly.
Tracking
Players cannot Track other players inside Faction Dungeons. If a player enters while having Hunting Mode enabled for Players, it will be automatically disabled. Tracking bonuses to Damage and Barding Skills apply as normal.
Loot and Faction Spawns
War Aspect Cores and War Aspect Distillations drop as uncommon loot. Players can gain War Aspect Experience from killing creatures while wearing War Aspect Gear with a +50% bonus to XP gained.
Faction Spawns
Occasionally, creatures spawn as Faction Spawns, indicated by orange overhead text. Killing a Faction Spawn grants Faction Score equal to 20% of the creature’s Gold Value, divided among damaging players.
PvM Bonuses
All Primary and Secondary PvM Bonuses (such as Skills, Equipment, Aspects, and Codexes) function normally in Faction Dungeons. This includes all Aspects, not just War Aspect.
Ghost Gates
Since Gate Travel and Chivalry Moongates are disabled, Ghost Gates are scattered throughout Faction Dungeons. These gates allow ghost players to instantly teleport out of the dungeon to Towns.
Dungeon Exits
Players can exit Faction Dungeons in the following ways:
- Recall (limited to five successful casts per visit).
- Hiking (Camping).
- Leaving through the Level 1 entrance, which teleports them and their followers to Daemon Keep (where Faction players purify Faction Flags).
