Summary
Looting rights for creatures are determined by specific damage thresholds and guild or party affiliations. Guild Alliances are not factored into looting rights, meaning players must be in the same guild or party as a top-damaging player to qualify.
For Boss-level creatures (excluding Shrine Bosses), the color of the corpse indicates whether a player has looting rights:
- If a player does not have looting rights, the boss’s corpse will appear Blue.
- If a player does have looting rights, the boss’s corpse will appear Red.
A player earns looting rights under different conditions depending on whether they are fighting a normal creature or a boss-level creature.
Looting Rights Conditions
Against Normal Creatures
A player has looting rights to a normal creature if any of the following conditions are met:
- The player is the top-damaging player.
- If the creature has less than 100,000 HP, the first player to attack it (within its 2-minute damage history) receives a +15% damage bonus, improving their chances of securing looting rights.
- The player is in the same Guild as the top-damaging player.
- The player is in the same Party as the top-damaging player.
Against Boss Creatures
Looting rights for boss-level creatures follow different criteria due to their larger health pools and increased player participation. A player earns looting rights under any of the following conditions:
- The player is the top-damaging player.
- The player is in the same Guild as the top-damaging player.
- The player is in the same Party as the top-damaging player.
- The player's total damage percentage (damage dealt divided by total damage from all players) meets the Player Damage Percent Threshold of the boss type.
- The player is in the same Guild or same Party as another player whose total damage percentage meets the looting Player Damage Percent Threshold of the boss type.
- The player's Guild collectively deals enough damage to meet the Guild Damage Percent Threshold of the boss type.
Looting Thresholds
Player Damage Percent Thresholds
Each boss type has a minimum damage percentage a player must contribute to qualify for loot:
- Lore Boss: 10%
- Mini-Boss: 10%
- Boss: 5%
- Omni Boss: 2%
- Event Boss: 2%
Guild Damage Percent Thresholds
A player's guild must contribute a minimum total damage percentage for all its members to qualify for loot:
- Lore Boss: 30%
- Mini-Boss: 30%
- Boss: 15%
- Omni Boss: 6%
- Event Boss: 6%
These thresholds ensure that loot distribution remains competitive while rewarding players who contribute significantly to the battle.
