Summary
Outlands features numerous player-crafted PvM progression items tied to specific skills, significantly enhancing the performance of various builds. These items are designed to be **blessed**, meaning they cannot be stolen, and their experience progression is linked to the character rather than the item itself. As a result, these items remain **freely tradeable and sellable**, but experience gained will not transfer upon trade.
Outlands has numerous player crafted PvM progression items associated to specific skills which can vastly improve the performance of certain builds.<br>
The following is an overview of these items:
* All codex and progression items are blessed and cannot be stolen
* Codex and progression item experience is tied to the character and not to the item
* Codex and progression items are freely tradeable / sold to other characters (the experience doesn't move with them)
* As long as you meet the minimum 80 printed skill requirements and are carrying the codex or progression item you can:
** use multiple codices or progression items at the same time (i.e. Codex of Fencing + Poison Kit)
** gain full experience to multiple codices or progression items in parallel (See Experience Gain for more information)
** gain the associated bonuses from the codex or progression item - as long as you are meeting any conditional requirements listed (ie. associated weapon, poisoned, barded, stationary etc)

{| class="wikitable" style="text-align: center;"
Players who meet the **minimum skill requirement of 80 in the relevant printed skill** and carry a codex or progression item can **use multiple codices or progression items simultaneously**, such as the **Codex of Fencing and the Poison Kit**. They will also **gain full experience** across multiple codices or progression items concurrently, provided they meet the specific conditions required for experience gain. Additionally, players will **receive all associated bonuses** from a codex or progression item, as long as they fulfill its requirements, such as wielding the correct weapon, attacking a poisoned or barded target, or remaining stationary when required.

Taming Bestiary
Weapon and Parry Codices
* The Taming Bestiary is a progressive-bonus system for the Animal Taming skill that rewards characters for playing over time with a variety of different tameable creature types (requires a creature with a Min Taming of 50 or higher). As characters kill monsters while using Tamed Creatures, they will earn Affinity Experience towards the type of tamed creatures they currently control, and with enough experience earned for a creature type, they will receive Affinity Points that will unlock permanent bonuses for the character that will be applied to ANY tamed creature type that character controls.
There are **eight different Weapon and Parry Codices**, each corresponding to a **weapon or shield skill**, including **Archery, Fencing, Mace Fighting, Swordsmanship, Wrestling, Parrying, Arcane, and Fishing**.
* In order to utilize the Taming Bestiary, characters must acquire and carry a Taming Bestiary
* Players do not have to "spend" Affinity Points once earned: the system will automatically unlock bonuses for characters as soon as their Affinity Points total reaches the required amount for the bonus
* For each type of tamed creature a character uses to kill monsters (Min Taming of 50 or higher), it will automatically create a Creature Entry Listing for that creature type to track Experience progress on it
* Each different creature type will have a specific Target amount of experience needed to be completed, which is equal to (Creature's Min Taming x 1000)
* Crafted by Scribes for 25 Arcane Scrolls and 1 Mastercrafting Diagram
