Harvesting Experience

Harvest Aspect experience is unique in that it can only be earned through Harvesting Resources and Opening Dungeon or Treasure Map Chests. The amount of experience gained when harvesting is scaled based on the relative value of the resource, similar to how players earn progress on Trade Caravans from harvesting. Nearly all activities that involve gathering resources contribute towards Harvest Aspect experience, including Resource Maps, Messages in Bottles (MIBs), and other related sources.

Players wearing Harvest Aspect Armor while harvesting will receive a special experience boost if their equipped Weapon or Spellbook does not have an Aspect. In this case, they will receive double experience gain towards the Harvest Aspect. This mechanic is designed to prevent players from having to constantly "re-aspect" new tools such as a Pickaxe, Hatchet, or Fishing Pole each time an old one breaks from usage.
