Black Goods are a type of stolen item that come in various rarity levels, ranging from Extremely Common to Legendary. The rarity of a Black Goods item is randomized, but creatures with higher Creature Difficulty offer a greater chance of yielding more valuable items. Players who are Red Hand members of the Thieves Guild benefit from a 10% bonus to their chances of upgrading Black Goods to higher rarity levels.

Players can exchange Black Goods for random items at the Black Market, found within the Thieves Guild Menu. Additionally, any increases to Special Loot Drop Rate—such as those obtained from Weekly Server Region Bonuses, Guild Favors, Mastery Chain Links, and Fortune Aspect Armor—will also enhance the likelihood of acquiring higher rarity Black Goods from Pilfering and Mugging creatures.

Black Goods Rarities

Black Goods exist in several tiers, each progressively more valuable and rarer than the last. The different levels of rarity are Extremely Common, Very Common, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Very Rare, Extremely Rare, and Legendary. The table below illustrates these tiers visually:

Acquiring higher-tier Black Goods is largely dependent on Creature Difficulty, as well as any Special Loot bonuses the player has activated. Players looking to maximize their gains should aim to target stronger creatures and take advantage of server-wide bonuses or personal enhancements.
