Tome of Heroism

The Tome of Heroism is a Blessed item that allows players to collect Tokens of Heroism by defeating Mini-Bosses and Bosses. Players can craft a Tome of Heroism using the Inscription skill.

Each Tome of Heroism tracks the player's progress in collecting Tokens of Heroism from various dungeon bosses. Single-clicking the tome displays the total number of tokens added, while double-clicking opens a menu showing the list of all Mini-Bosses and Bosses in the game.

Players who successfully complete a Tome of Heroism by collecting all required tokens will receive 4 Mastery Chain Links in their backpack. However, once the tome is used to summon an Omni Boss, it will lose its Blessed status.

When a guild summons an Ocean Mini-Boss or Ocean Boss, they will immediately receive the coordinates of the boss’s spawn location, but the boss itself will not appear for 5 minutes, allowing time to prepare for battle.

Token of Heroism

Acquiring Tokens of Heroism

Players can obtain Tokens of Heroism by participating in battles against Mini-Bosses and Bosses. When a Boss is defeated, one random player who dealt damage to it will receive a Token of Heroism for that boss, which will be placed in their backpack.

For Mini-Bosses, there is a 50% chance that a random player who dealt damage (with the chance scaled based on damage contribution) will receive a Token of Heroism.

Additionally, players can earn Tokens of Heroism by killing Ocean Mini-Bosses or Ocean Bosses, though these tokens are not required to summon an Omni Boss.

Any player who earns a Token of Heroism or a Mastery Chain Link will automatically have looting rights for the defeated creature, regardless of the total damage percentage dealt.

Using Tokens of Heroism

Players can add a Token of Heroism to their Tome of Heroism by double-clicking the token and targeting the tome. When a Mini-Boss or Boss token is added, its icon will appear in the tome, and its listing will turn white with a bloody mark, signifying its completion.

Once a player successfully collects Tokens of Heroism from every required Mini-Boss and Boss, they will receive 4 Mastery Chain Links in their backpack and gain the ability to summon the Omni Boss.

Players can also use the “Add Token of Heroism” button within the tome’s menu to select tokens from their backpack manually.

Omni Boss Loot Bonus

The Tome of Heroism includes an "Increase Loot Bonus" function, which allows players to consume additional Tokens of Heroism to increase the Loot Bonus for the summoned Omni Boss.

Players can target a Token of Heroism in their backpack and consume it to improve the Omni Boss’s loot. The loot bonus increases as follows:

• Consuming a Mini-Boss Token (e.g., Lodestone) increases the Omni Boss loot bonus by 2.5%.
• Consuming a Boss Token (e.g., Infernus) increases the Omni Boss loot bonus by 5.0%.
• The maximum Loot Bonus that can be applied to an Omni Boss is 50%.
• Players can repeatedly use tokens of the same creature type to increase the loot bonus.
• Tokens from any creature, including those not required for summoning the Omni Boss (e.g., Shadowspire Cathedral or Ocean creatures), can be used for this mechanic.

Players cannot increase the loot bonus for an Omni Boss that has already been summoned. The Loot Bonus value directly affects the total amount of Gold dropped by the boss and improves the per-player Increases in Size mechanic, which adjusts the chances of receiving additional Special or Rare Loot Drops.
