The Blacksmithy skill allows players to craft and repair a variety of metal-based equipment, including weapons, shields, and armor. Skilled blacksmiths can create ingot-based weapons and shields, as well as Ringmail, Chainmail, and Platemail armor.
In addition to crafting, blacksmiths can produce Blacksmithy Repair Kits, which allow players to repair all Blacksmithy-made items within a targeted container. A Blacksmith with 95 skill can use these repair kits on another player, repairing all Blacksmithy-made items in that player’s backpack and those currently equipped.
Wearing any Blacksmithy-crafted armor, including magical and aspect armor, provides an armor bonus equal to:
(25% * (Blacksmithy Skill / 100)).
In order to access Blacksmithy, player's must have a Smith's Hammer and be near an anvil.

Blacksmithy also enhances melee damage when using Blacksmithing-crafted weapons.
