From Fiend's Outlands Wiki
Revision as of 04:46, 2 March 2025 by Fiend (talk | contribs)

The Begging skill allows players to request gold from NPC vendors and interact with NPC Ship Crewmembers. It is primarily used for acquiring small amounts of gold or motivating ship crew members to enhance their combat effectiveness.

Mechanics

Begging from NPC Vendors

  • Players can use Begging on NPC vendors to receive 5 gold per successful attempt.
  • Each vendor has a daily limit of 50 gold and can only be begged from once every 24 hours.
  • There is a 5-second cooldown between Begging attempts.

Begging from NPC Ship Crewmembers

  • Players can beg from Ship Crewmembers, found in towns and wilderness housing areas.
  • A successful attempt grants a Ship Crewmember Deed, which can be placed into a ship deed.
  • Players can only attempt to beg from a Ship Crewmember once per day.

Motivating Ship Crewmembers

Players can use Begging to motivate Ship Crewmembers onboard a ship, providing temporary combat bonuses.

Effects of Motivation

  • Damage Bonus:

(25% * (Player Begging Skill / 100))

  • Wrestling Skill Bonus:

(12.5% * (Player Begging Skill / 100))

  • Duration: 5 minutes

Additional Notes

  • Only the ship captain can motivate crewmembers.
  • When used aboard a ship, Begging automatically applies the effect to all crewmembers—manual targeting is not required.
  • Players can gain Begging skill by motivating Crew Members on ships.
