Summary

The Begging skill allows players to request gold from NPC vendors. A successful attempt grants 5 gold, but each vendor can only be begged from once every 24 hours. Vendors have a limited pool of 50 gold per day, and the skill has a 5-second cooldown between uses.

In addition to vendors, players can use Begging on NPC Ship Crewmembers, who are found in towns and wilderness housing locations. Successfully begging from a Ship Crewmember grants a Ship Crewmember Deed, which can be placed into a ship deed. Players may only attempt to beg from a Ship Crewmember once per day.

Motivating

Begging is also used to motivate Ship Crewmembers onboard a ship, temporarily enhancing their combat effectiveness. When a player uses the skill on crewmembers, they gain a damage bonus of (25% * (Player Begging Skill / 100)) and a Wrestling skill bonus of (12.5% * (Player Begging Skill / 100)), both lasting for 5 minutes.

Only the ship captain can motivate crewmembers, and using the Begging skill while aboard a ship will automatically apply the effect to all crewmembers, without requiring manual targeting. Players can also gain Begging skill by motivating Crew Members on ships.
