Smuggler NPCs are special vendors that allow players to purchase unlimited quantities of certain vendor items at a markup price. These NPCs can be found in various locations across the world, often in more remote or hidden areas. They offer a convenient way for players to acquire crafting materials and other essential goods without the typical limitations imposed by standard town vendors.
To view the goods available from a Smuggler, players can say "Buy", "Vendor", "Goods", or "Smuggle" while near them. Alternatively, players can shift-click on the Smuggler NPC and select the "Buy" option from the context menu.
Smugglers provide two purchasing options. On the left side of the purchase menu, items are available in stacks, allowing players to buy in bulk. On the right side of the menu, items can be purchased as a Filled Commodity, which is useful for those looking to trade or transport large quantities easily.
The cost of items from a Smuggler NPC is 25% to 33% higher than prices at town vendors. This price increase reflects the nature of dealing with illicit traders and the convenience of purchasing without restrictions. Gold for purchases is automatically withdrawn from the player’s Bank Box, while the purchased items are placed directly into the player's backpack.
Note: Players will not receive any discounts from Smugglers, even if their guild has an active Vendor Rebate Guild Favor.
