This page details the introduction of Netherzone regions, updates to Bosses and high-end content difficulty, Guild Dungeon Progress changes, new Wilderness Bosses, and Omni Boss updates introduced with the Wildlands Expansion (May 19, 2024).
Netherzones
- Omni Lair Regions and Pit Trial Regions are now classified as "Netherzone" Region type (previously Wilderness).
- Future instanced content areas likely to also be Netherzones.
Slayers and Region Bonuses
- Netherzone Slayer items (weapons, spellbooks, instruments, etc.) now drop as loot.
- Mastery Chain Links for "Netherzone Damage" can be found/reforged (same bonuses as Wilderness links).
- Netherzone Slayer/Links only work in Omni Lairs and Pit Trials.
- Wilderness Slayer/Links no longer work in Omni Lairs or Pit Trials.
- No Weekly Server Region Bonuses occur for Netherzones.
- No Guild Favors for Netherzone regions.
Wilderness Damage Mastery Chain Links
- Existing Wilderness Damage links can be converted to Netherzone Damage links by double-clicking the link and selecting "Upgrade Link".
Progression
- Achievements for Netherzone Slaying added.
- Redline Progress and Trophies can be earned for Netherzone regions.
- No Societies jobs specific to Netherzones.
Loot
- Netherzone Dungeon Hue (Hue 1500) items available (Dyes, Cloth, Spell Hues, Holiday items, etc.).
- Netherzone Plant Seeds available for growing Netherzone Plants.
Bosses and High End Content
- Overall difficulty of most Boss-level and high-end content moderately increased (intended as group content).
- Some Boss/high-end creature abilities may be adjusted.
- Lore Bosses have all new abilities.
Guild Dungeon Progress
- Summoning a Mini-Boss or Boss now increases the gold progress needed to summon that *same* creature again *that week*.
- Dungeon summons: Cumulative +50% of base cost per summon.
- Ocean/Wilderness summons: Cumulative +25% of base cost per summon.
- Cumulative increases reset weekly on Friday Night (same time as Society Job resets).
- Excess Gold Progress remaining at week's end rolls over.

Spawning and Summoning
- Occur as natural spawns and can be summoned by guilds.
- Guilds earn progress by earning gold in Wilderness Slayer applicable locations (non-primary dungeons/ocean).
Chaos Shrine
- Wilderness Mini-Boss and Boss appear at the Chaos Shrine when spawning or summoned.
- Travel Restrictions: Recall/Gate/Hiking not allowed in the large central area. Allowed on outside platforms.
Omni Bosses
Tokens of Heroism
- Single-clicking now displays Boss Type (Mini-Boss/Boss) and Dungeon Name (not creature name).
- Display with associated Dungeon's Hue for easier identification.
Tomes of Heroism
- Now require 10 Unique Mini-Boss Tokens AND 10 Unique Boss Tokens to summon Omni Bosses.
- Tokens can be from any Dungeon/Region (no duplicates of specific tokens allowed).
- Can now summon using tokens from Shadowspire Cathedral, Wilderness, Ocean, and Kraul Hive.
Omni Lairs
- Now 6 total Omni Lairs available (each visual theme mirrored once).
