Crafting

From Fiend's Outlands Wiki

Crafting is an essential skillset in the world of Outlands, allowing players to use harvested resources to create a wide variety of useful items. Unlike other skills, crafting skills do not receive Skill Gain Bonuses and tend to progress at a slower rate. Players must gather the necessary materials and use appropriate tools to craft different types of items, including weapons, armor, potions, and furniture.

Alchemy

Alchemy allows players to craft potions, Aspect Distillations, and plant care items. Crafting potions also increases their effectiveness when consumed. To practice Alchemy, players need a Mortar and Pestle.

Blacksmithy

With Blacksmithy, players can forge armor, weapons, add-ons, and more using metal ingots. To craft items, players need a Smith's Hammer, Ingots, and access to an Anvil.

Carpentry/Bowcraft

The Carpentry/Bowcraft skill enables players to craft wood-based weapons, shields, archery weapons and ammo, furniture, ships, and other wooden structures. This skill requires a Carpentry Tool and Boards.

Cooking

Cooking allows players to prepare food items that provide regeneration bonuses for PvM encounters. Cooking requires a Skillet, ingredients, and a heat source such as an Oven, Campfire, or Forge.

Inscription

Players skilled in Inscription can craft Spell Scrolls, Runebooks, Rune Tomes, Lore Books, and more. This skill also enhances Magery spell potency and allows the crafting of Arcane Runes. To practice Inscription, players need a Scribe’s Pen.

Tailoring

Tailoring focuses on crafting custom clothing, specially dyed items, leather armor, and utility items. This skill requires a Sewing Kit, along with Cloth or Leather.

Tinkering

Tinkering allows players to craft tools, traps for PvM and PvP, lockpicks, utility items, and more. To craft items, players need Tinker's Tools.

Crafting Queues

The Crafting Queue system helps automate crafting tasks by allowing players to queue up multiple items for creation. Players can launch the Crafting Queue Menu by clicking the "Open Crafting Queue" button in any crafting menu. Additionally, players can use the commands [CraftingQueue] or [CraftQueue] to access the menu.

If a player clicks "Add to Queue" in the crafting submenu for a specific item, it will automatically open the Crafting Queue Menu and add that item to their queue. If no queue exists, a new one will be created.

For more information, see the Crafting Queue page.
