Outlands Patch April 1, 2023 is an April Fools' Day update for Outlands, featuring a variety of humorous (and mostly non-functional) additions, along with one temporary real item.
Prevalia Market Update
- Players can now purchase a Richard Garriott decorative plushie.
- He went into Space for us, so you can now make space in your house for him!

Finishing Moves
- Players can now use the Lumberjacking skill to perform brutal finishing moves on players in combat.
Very, Very New Player Dungeon
- For players overwhelmed by the New Player Dungeon, a Very, Very New Player Dungeon is now available.
- Entry requires 200 Total Skill Points or less.
OAR-G Ship Groupfinder
- Players can now use the OAR-G Ship Groupfinder to find the Seamen (or Seawomen) they're looking for.
Brewing
- Players can now use the Brewing system to create "Alemental" Followers.
Chaps Spawn
- Due to popular demand, a Chaps Spawn has been added to each Faction Dungeon.
Documentation
- To free up staff resources, the Wiki has been eliminated and full control of documentation given to ChatGPH (gold per hour).
Monsters
- Completed a full Lute Overhaul for monsters.
Classic Server
- Outlands launches a new sister shard: New Lagacy, based on 1997 Mechanics with player Pings capped at 400ms for era accuracy.
Cryptocurrency
- Outlands releases Fungible Tokens for players to acquire and trade for some reason.
Achievements
- Players can now complete the Inferior Decorator achievement by losing Carpet Tiles below floorboards.
Server Hosting
- Due to a clerical error, Outlands now hosted by Amazon Weeb Services.
- Cannot @Tag staff in Discord; request attention via *NoticeMeSenpai*.
Snugglers NPCs
- Snuggler NPCs deployed throughout cities to offer free embraces for positive mental health.
YOLOs
- Players seeking challenge may activate YOLOs.
- Randomizes Stats/Skills and makes next death Permanent.
Llama Mask (This One is Real!)
- Players can double-click the Great Llama Statue of Prevalia to receive a Llama Mask in their Backalpaca (Backpack).
- Llama Masks are Blessed, function as standard Armored Masks, cannot be Dyed.
- ALL Llama Masks will be deleted on April 8th.
