Outlands Patch February 10, 2023 is an update for Outlands.
This patch introduces limited edition Valentine's Day items to the Prevalia Market, including the Shimmer Serenity hue, new wearables, decorations, returning items, the Cupid Bow, event crafting, a new Tattoo, and nearly 100 new Hairstyles. It also adjusts Factions flag securing score, Player Kill score distribution/values, prevents Faction Door resets while enemies are inside, and allows Teleport/Rope use into Waypost/Castle regions. Test Shard updates and a house demolition placement window fix are also included.

Returning Decorative Items

Cupid Bow
- Purchasable only with gold (250,000) during Valentine's Event.
- Not a weapon, but equippable. Blessed.
- Starts with 10 charges, consumes 1 per use.
- While worn: Double-click bow + target player OR Shift-click player -> "Shoot With Cupids Bow" context menu entry plays special Cupid Effect on target.
- 60 second cooldown between uses per player.
- Attacking while wielding cancels attack.
- Cupid Arrow Bundles (loot item during event) can be used (double-click bundle, target bow) to add 5 Charges per bundle (no max limit).
Cupid Arrow Bundles
- Loot item on creature corpses during Valentine's Day event.
- Used to recharge Cupid Bows.
Event Crafting
- During Valentine's Event, craft Two-Tiered Cake using Cooking skill (Event Category).
Tattoos
- "Heart" Body Tattoo permanently added to Prevalian Stylist.
Hairstyles
- Nearly 100 new Hairstyles permanently added to Prevalian Stylist.
- Small Orb button for Hairstyle now launches a Preview Menu for navigation. Clicking selection updates main menu.
Factions
Securing Flags
- Removed mechanic capping Potential Faction Score from Securing by Potential Score earned from Stealing.
Faction Player Kills
- Fixed issue preventing Player Kills in Faction Dungeons from awarding Faction Score.
- Faction Score from valid kills now divided among damagers based on Damage Dealt %.
- Player Kills now worth 20 Faction Score (Note: Value changed multiple times later).
Upgraded Kills
Faction Kills Upgraded to 50 Faction Score if occurred:
- Within 50 tiles of a Waypost (Note: Radius changed later).
- Within 50 tiles of a Faction Flag (Note: Radius changed later).
- Inside a Faction Castle.
- Inside a Faction Town (entire region).
- Inside a Faction Dungeon.
- *(Note: Upgraded value changed multiple times later).*
Killing a Flag Carrier
- Killing Flag Carrier worth additional 50 Faction Score (victim must have KTG, not recently ressed). (Note: Value changed later).
Faction Castle Doors
- Faction Castle Doors will not reset if any opposing Faction players are currently inside that Castle.
Teleport / Rope
- Players should now be able to cast Teleport or use Adventurer's Rope into or out of Waypost Regions or Castle Regions.
- *(Note: Gate/Recall/Hiking into Castles still restricted to owning faction).*
TEST SHARD
- GOLD Player Editor statue can now add Faction Silver to account.
- Receives an Aspect Triumph in backpack when adding Faction Silver.
Housing
- Fixed issue causing House post-Demolition non-friendly 30 minute placement window to not always work correctly.
