Dungeon and Wilderness creatures now accumulate a '''Progressive Loot bonus''' of '''+5% per hour''' for each hour they remain alive, up to a maximum of '''+250%'''. This bonus increases the amount of '''gold dropped''' and adjusts the percentage chance for encountering '''Special''' and '''Rare Loot'''. These bonuses stack with all other available loot enhancements.

Ocean creatures and New Player Dungeon creatures are '''exempt''' from Progressive Loot bonuses.

Loot refers to the items obtained from various activities in Outlands, primarily killing creatures, opening chests, and engaging in naval combat. Loot is generally categorized into regular loot (common items like Gold, reagents), special loot (less common items like Aspect Cores, Skill Mastery Scrolls), and rare loot (valuable items like Mastercrafting Diagrams, Collectable Cards).

Several systems provide bonuses that can independently increase the quantity or chance of obtaining items within these categories:

  • Region Bonus: Increases Gold and Special Loot chance based on activity in specific map regions.
  • Guild Favor: Increases Gold, Special Loot chance, and Rare Loot chance based on active Guild Favors.
  • Mastery Chain: Specific links can enhance Gold drop amounts, Special Loot chance, and Rare Loot chance.
  • Fortune Aspect: Provides bonuses to Gold drop amounts, Special Loot chance, and Rare Loot chance based on Aspect Tier.
  • Event Bonus: Temporary server-wide events may boost loot rewards.

Progressive Loot

Note: Creatures on the Test Shard are NOT affected by Progressive Loot Bonuses.

Dungeon and Wilderness creatures accumulate a Progressive Loot bonus the longer they remain alive.

  • Bonus Accumulation: +5% per hour the creature is alive.
  • Maximum Bonus: +250% (after 50 hours).
  • Effect: Increases the amount of Gold dropped and improves the chance of receiving Special Loot and Rare Loot.
  • Stacking: This bonus stacks multiplicatively with all other loot bonuses (Guild Favor, Fortune Aspect, etc.).
  • Exemptions: Ocean creatures (from Fishing SOS/MiBs, Ship Combat) and New Player Dungeon creatures do not benefit from Progressive Loot.

Example: A creature that normally drops 100 gold and has been alive for 10 hours (accumulating a +50% bonus) will drop 150 gold (100 * 1.50) before other modifiers are applied.
