Players can use Harvesting skills to gather raw resources, which can then be refined into useful materials for Crafting. Harvesting skills include Fishing, Forensic Evaluation, Lumberjacking, and Mining, each providing essential materials for crafting weapons, armor, furniture, and more.

While harvesting, players will occasionally be required to complete a Captcha verification. Failing a CAPTCHA three times will result in a temporary restriction from harvesting, with the duration increasing based on previous offenses.

Harvesting skills do not receive a Shelter Dungeon Bonus. Additionally, they raise more slowly compared to other skills.

Players can refine raw materials by double-clicking them in their backpack while carrying the appropriate tool:

  • Logs → Boards
  • Raw Fish → Fish Steaks
  • Ore → Ingots (must be near a Forge)

To prevent instant travel-based resource gathering, whenever a player uses Recall, Moongates, Hikes, Teleports, or an Adventurer's Rope, they will have a 60-second cooldown before they can attempt to harvest again.

Smart Harvest

Players can use Smart Harvest for automated harvesting of nearby resource nodes.

  • Double-click a harvesting tool to begin Smart Harvesting
  • The player will automatically gather from any nearby harvest nodes with available resources

Harvesting Material Weights

Each harvested material has a specific weight in stones. The following table outlines the weight of common harvesting resources:

Material Weight (Stones)

Ore
2

Ingot
0.025

Log/Board
0.025

Leather
0.025

Raw Fish
0.025

Fishing

Fishing allows players to catch various types of fish using a Fishing Pole and the Fishing skill.

  • Players can catch a variety of fish, including Aquarium Creatures
  • Special fish (such as large fish, crabs, and lobsters) are used in high-level Cooking recipes

Forensic Evaluation

Forensic Evaluation is used to harvest leather and other materials from creature corpses.

  • Requires a Skinning Knife and the Forensic Evaluation skill
  • Can be used on monster corpses to harvest leather
  • Can also be used to obtain feathers and cooking ingredients from bird-type creatures
  • Using a Skinning Knife on a player's corpse will dismember the body into separate body parts

Lumberjacking

Lumberjacking allows players to harvest logs from trees using a Hatchet and the Lumberjacking skill.

  • Logs can be used to craft:
 * Kindling
 * Ships
 * Furniture
 * Add-ons
 * Other wooden items

Mining

Mining is used to extract ore from rock surfaces, including caves, boulders, and rock walls. A Pickaxe and the Mining skill are required.

  • Ore is converted into Ingots by double-clicking the ore while near a Forge
  • The success rate for smelting ore is determined by the Mining skill, not Blacksmithing
  • Ingots are used to craft:
 * Weapons
 * Armor
 * Tools
 * Other metal-based items

CAPTCHA

Players will occasionally be required to complete a Captcha while harvesting. If a player fails a CAPTCHA three times, they will be blocked from harvesting for a set duration.

  • The duration of the harvesting restriction increases with repeated offenses

Commodities

Players can store harvested resources using Blank Commodity Deeds.

  • Blank Commodity Deeds can be purchased from a Banker
  • To use, double-click a Blank Commodity Deed and target the resource to create a Resource Commodity
  • Commodities are not blessed and can be stolen or looted

Resource Maps

Resource Maps allow players to harvest specific resources such as Fish, Leather, Logs, and Ore.

  • Resource Maps must be deciphered in the same way as Treasure Maps using the Cartography skill
  • A harvester must have the required skill level to extract resources from the map (e.g., 65 Mining to use a Dull Copper Resource Map)
  • The Loot Goblin program can help locate the exact spot where the map is used. More details can be found on the forum: [1]
