Flooring Tiles are single-tile items used for decorating the floors of player Houses. As of the Outlands Patch April 2, 2025, the terms "Carpet Tiles", "Rug Tiles", and "Floor Tiles" are collectively referred to as Flooring Tiles.

Functionality

Rotation

  • Players can cycle through the different visual styles within a Flooring Tile set (e.g., corners, edges, center pieces) by double-clicking the tile while it is in their backpack.
  • Additionally, as of the Outlands Patch April 2, 2025, placed Flooring Tiles can be rotated using an Interior Decorator.

Acquisition

Flooring Tiles can be obtained through several methods:

Prevalia Merchant

  • Players can purchase a variety of Flooring Tiles from the Prevalian Merchant.
  • The relevant category, previously named "Carpet Tiles", was renamed to Flooring in the Outlands Patch April 2, 2025.
  • This patch also added a large number of new Carpet, Rug, and Floor tile types available for purchase via the merchant.

Crafting

  • Certain types of dyeable Flooring Tiles can be crafted using the Tailoring skill (found under the Utility category).
  • Each crafting attempt typically makes multiple tiles (e.g., 2 tiles for Gilded Dyeable Carpet).
  • See Craftable Sets below for examples.

Loot

  • Dyeable Rug Tiles and other Flooring Tiles can sometimes be found as loot from Monsters, Dungeon Chests, Treasure Map Chests, Ship Holds, etc.
  • See Lootable Sets below for examples.

Dyeing

Certain Flooring Tiles (typically labeled as 'Dyeable', such as the craftable Gilded sets or lootable Rug tiles) can be colored using Carpet Tile Dyes. These dyes come in various hues and sources:

  • Rare Hue Carpet Tile Dyes: Found in similar locations to Rare Cloth drops, matching those hues.
  • Dungeon Hue Carpet Tile Dyes: Found as loot in dungeons.
  • Reward Carpet Tile Dyes: Purchased from specific reward systems (e.g., Arena, Artificer Enclave).
  • Limited Edition Carpet Tile Dyes: Matching new and existing Limited Edition Cloth Hues (introduced over time).

Storage

Flooring Tiles can be organized and stored within a Flooring Rack, a specialized container introduced in the Outlands Patch April 2, 2025.
