Major Updates
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Arcane Essence Commodity | Players can now craft and trade Arcane Essence Commodities (5,000 essence each) and set prices on Rental Vendors. |
Followers PvP Damage Cap | Tamed/Summoned followers now have a cumulative damage cap per 3-second window against players in PvP, scaling with Control Slots and Follower Skills. |
Followers PvP Restrictions | Followers' spells ignore Magic Reflect and don't cause Interrupts in PvP. Summoning and Combat Commands are restricted in PvP Event Zones / Faction areas. |
PvP Event Adjustments | Updated player kill points for Town Struggles, Dungeon Flashpoints, Corpse Creek Contests. Added Excessive Player Count penalties and a Beacon point cap for CCC. |
Meteor Swarm / Chain Lightning PvP Rework | Spells have adjusted handling in Organized PvP situations (Faction areas, Event Zones), hitting only non-Blue targets with damage scaling based on the number of players hit. Penalties apply for hitting friendly Faction members. |
OutlandsID Integration | Characters on the same OutlandsID are treated as owners for Houses and Rental Vendors for access purposes. |
Stationary Vendor Penalty | Players who are stationary for too long receive a penalty preventing vendor purchases until they move. |
Arcane Essence
- Arcane Essence now has a new graphic and has been updated in related menus.

Arcane Essence Commodity
- Players can now make Arcane Essence Commodities.
- Arcane Essence Commodities hold 5,000 per commodity.
- Players can set Pricing Manifest prices on Rental Vendors for Arcane Essence Commodities.

Followers
PvP Damage
- When a player is in PvP with another player, there is a Follower PvP Damage Window that resets every 3 seconds.
- During these windows, each Follower (Tamed/Summoned) belonging to a player is capped at inflicting a cumulative Damage equal to its Follower PvP Damage Cap against another player.
- The Follower PvP Damage Cap is calculated as: (Creature's Control Slots * (1 + (Controller's Total Printed Follower Skills / 100)))
- Any cumulative damage inflicted by a Follower during a window that would exceed its Follower PvP Damage Cap will be reduced to 0.
- Follower Skills include all of the following:
- Example
- A player has 100 Animal Taming, 100 Animal Lore and 100 Veterinary for a total of 300 Total Printed Follower Skills.
- They are using a Bullvore (3 Control Slots) and a Black Widow (2 Control Slots).
- The Bullvore can inflict a maximum of `(3 * (1 + (300 / 100))) = 12 Damage` every 3 seconds against another player in PvP.
- The Black Widow can inflict a maximum of `(2 * (1 + (300 / 100))) = 8 Damage` every 3 seconds against another player in PvP.
Magic Reflect and Interrupts
- Spells cast by Followers against other players will ignore Magic Reflect on the player (will not be reflected and will not remove the Magic Reflect on the player).
- Spells cast by Followers against other players will no longer have an effect on the player's 1st-4th circle Interrupt Window for PvP.
Summoning in PvP Events / Factions
- Players will no longer be able to cast Summon spells while in an active PvP Event Zone (TS / DF / CCC / SR), a Faction Castle, or within the boundaries of a Faction Waypost.
- Any Summoned Followers that enter these zones will be automatically unsummoned.

Followers in PvP Events
- Players will no longer be able to issue Combat (Attack / Guard / Patrol) commands to any Followers while in an active PvP Event Zone (TS / DF / CCC / SR), a Faction Castle, or within the boundaries of a Faction Waypost.
- Any Followers inside of these zones that has an active Attack / Guard / Patrol command will be switched to Follow mode.

Murderers / Criminals
- Dispelling or attempting to dispel a Murderer/Criminal player's Summoned Follower will now correctly flag the caster as being attackable (grey) by the Murderer/Criminal for the next 2 minutes.

Town Struggles
- Fixed an issue that was causing abandoned Mounts from not being deleted in Town Struggle Bases after Town Struggles.
Player Kills
- Player Kills are now worth 15 Points Team Points.
- Player kills are now worth a flat 15 Individual Points to each player involved in the kill (no scaling by Damage Dealt %).
Dungeon Flashpoints
Inactive Guild Penalty
- Fixed an issue that was not correctly applying Inactive Guild Penalties to guilds participating in Dungeon Flashpoints.
Player Kills
- Player Kills are now worth 40 Points to the killing Guild.
- Player kills are now worth a flat 40 Points to each player involved in the kill (no scaling by Damage Dealt %).
- Fixed an issue where Dungeon Flashpoint Kills would incorrectly give a "Corpse Creek Contest"-related system message.
Excessive Player Count Penalties
- If more than 10 players from a guild have participated in the event, all Individual and Team Score earned by that guild will suffer a penalty of 10% per player beyond 10 (with penalties up to a maximum of 90%).
- Examples
- Guild A has had 12 players from their guild participate in the event so far.
- All of their incoming Individual and Team Score earned will now suffer a `(2 * 10%) = 20%` penalty.
- Later, Guild A now has had 16 total players from their guild participate in the event.
- All of their incoming Individual and Team Score earned will now suffer a `(6 * 10%) = 60%` penalty.
Corpse Creek Contests
Player Kills
- Player Kills are now worth 40 Points to the killing Guild.
- Player kills are now worth a flat 40 Points to each player involved in the kill (no scaling by Damage Dealt %).
Beacons
- Guilds are now capped at earning a maximum of 40 Points per control tick from holding multiple Beacons (i.e. 2 Controlled Beacons, or 1 Controlled Beacon + 2 Contested Beacons).
Factions
- Moving over a Faction Flag will now also count as double-clicking that Faction Flag (and the player will attempt to pick it up).
Meteor Swarm and Chain Lightning
Organized PvP Handling
- If a player casts the Meteor Swarm or Chain Lightning spells in an Organized PvP situation, handling for the spell will become adjusted.
- Organized PvP Situations include the following:
- Faction Player inside of a Faction Castle or within 50 tiles of a Faction Castle Wall
- Faction Player within 50 tiles of a Faction Flag
- Faction Player within 50 tiles of a Faction Waypost
- Participant in a Dungeon Flashpoint inside the Event Zone (Dungeon 1st Floor)
- Participant in a Corpse Creek Contest inside the Event Zone (Corpse Creek region)
Targets Hit
- If a Meteor Swarm / Chain Lightning spell adopts Organized PvP handling, the spell will not hit any players or followers that are Blue (innocent).
Meteor Swarm Damage
- If a Meteor Swarm spell adopts Organized PvP handling, the damage inflicted to all players will be determined based on the total number of players hit, as follows:
- 1-5 Players Hit: 5 Damage
- 6 Players Hit: 7-9 Damage
- 7 Players Hit: 9-14 Damage
- 8 Players Hit: 11-17 Damage
- 9 Players Hit: 13-20 Damage
- 10 or more Players Hit: 15-24 Damage
- Example
- Team A has 5 players and Team B has 8 players and every player on each team casts Meteor Swarm and hits the entire opposing Team.
- Team A with 5 players will inflict `5 * (11 to 17 Damage) = 55 to 85 damage` to each member of Team B.
- Team B with 8 players will inflict `8 * (5 Damage) = 40 damage` to each member of Team A.
Chain Lightning Damage
- If a Chain Lightning spell adopts Organized PvP handling, the damage inflicted to all player will be determined based on the total number of players hit, as follows:
- 1-5 Players Hit: 6 Damage
- 6 Players Hit: 9-12 Damage
- 7 Players Hit: 12-18 Damage
- 8 Players Hit: 15-24 Damage
- 9 Players Hit: 18-30 Damage
- 10 or more Players Hit: 21-36 Damage
- Example
- Team A has 5 players and Team B has 8 players and every player on each team casts Chain Lightning and hits the entire opposing Team.
- Team A with 5 players will inflict `5 * (15 to 24 Damage) = 75 to 120 damage` to each member of Team B.
- Team B with 8 players will inflict `8 * (6 Damage) = 48 damage` to each member of Team A.
- Note: The Organized PvP handling of these spells is intended to give small groups a "counterplay" against large groups, while minimizing the ability of large groups to "brute force" inflict a large amount of damage due to having sheer numbers casting the spell.
Faction Friendly AOE
- Because Faction players cannot damage members of the same Faction, Faction players will have a Damage Penalty applied to any Organized PvP Meteor Swarm / Chain Lightning spells that have Friendly Players within the AOE radius.
- For each Friendly Faction player within the radius of an Organized PvP Meteor Swarm, the spell will suffer a 20% penalty (up to a maximum of 80%).
- For each Friendly Faction player within the radius of an Organized PvP Chain Lightning, the spell will suffer a 30% penalty (up to a maximum of 80%).
